yay. i decided to work harder.
i'm very inspired by my very cute teaching assistant today. THANKS SAMANTHA! you're the best. :)
ok. shall work on my design of small space today. will visit URA again for the 3rd time on fri. decided to do BOTH my essays this weekend.
yay. lemme write down here before i forget bout my intention for my essays.
(the following will be confusing for everyone reading this cuz it is supposed to be my idea for my GEK essay but i lazy to write down. you can skip this part and scroll down)
all architects want their clients to feel the best about their houses, that includes Shigeru Ban. His intention was to provide the refugees with a nicer home as their original houses are already destroyed in the natural disaster. Facing the monetary limitations, he had to adopt cheaper means of building the houses, thus the answer to that was paper tubes.
WOHA almost had the same idea as they also consult their clients for any specific requirements and from those limited requirements, they will develop the designs. At the exhibition, Exotic More or Less, this sign of the WOHA designers using what is limited can be seen from their choice of the site. They chose the area with the fountain(water feature) and the trees, and from there, they developed the design of where to place the models and project designs such that the water can reflect the models and make the exhibition area more lively. Hence, this clearly shows how WOHA and Shigeru Ban share the same ideas and intentions.
YAY. one more point added in my GEK essay.
anyway, chialing asked me whether i wanna go to Taiwan in Dec. i thought that it was a wonderful idea cuz we can actually save alot of MOOLAH by staying at her place (since she offered to let her stay at her house also =/ ) we can take cab to places and chiachia will meet us there then she can show us around. moreover, it will be winter and it will be so cooling and stuff. NO SWEAT. so, happily, i went to tell weeping they all lah. then huilin rejected the idea.... >.<
but never mind, cuz winter time also no clothes to buy. hurhurhur.
so next yr when chiachia go back during our 3 months break, then maybe i'll follow her. with weeping of cuz. and maybe huilin. and steven if he is ard. hawhawhaw
aiya. some photos from my trip to ESKIBAR on fri. fucking cold. i used to be able to withstand the cold. now dunno why cannot liao. i thought i grew fatter then i have more BLUBBER and i can withstand the cold. dunno why cannot leh. eeyer. i will try to shed away some blubber when i can (when i have the energy to)
